PHP Symfony Developer (m/f/d)

What we look for:

  • You develop web applications using PHP and Symfony and apply modern development approaches.
  • You create technical concepts and translate requirements into clean, scalable solutions.
  • You contribute to innovative and complex client projects in the field of PHP and Symfony development.
  • You analyze existing software solutions and actively contribute to the development of new applications.
  • You process, prioritize, classify, and document requests within our ticketing system.
  • You support quality assurance and test new software releases to ensure stable and high-quality deployments.

What we require:

  • You hold a university degree in (Business) Informatics, Economics, or a related IT discipline with very good academic performance (Master’s or MBA preferred).
  • You bring at least three years of relevant professional experience in developing Symfony-based projects, for example with Shopware or Ibexa.
  • You have solid experience in building complex web applications.
  • You have hands-on experience with extensions and plugins for systems such as Shopware, EZ Platform/Ibexa, or other Symfony-based solutions.
  • You possess strong templating skills, for example using Twig, Handlebars, Nuxt, or Next.
  • You are familiar with REST and have experience integrating APIs and interfaces.
  • You are confident working with tools such as Git/GitLab as well as Jira/Confluence.
  • You are a service-oriented, motivated, and curious team player.
  • You stand out through very strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • You are fluent in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
