(Senior) Consultant Data Strategy (m/f/d)

What we look for:

  • You own client workstreams that turn business priorities into actionable data strategies, implementation roadmaps, and enterprise capabilities.
  • You work directly with business and technology stakeholders to understand decision processes, data pain points, architectural constraints, and priority use cases.
  • You design pragmatic target states across data products, platforms, governance, quality, operating models, organization, and analytics.
  • You prioritize initiatives based on value, feasibility, dependencies, risk, and readiness and define clear pathways from strategy into implementation.
  • You lead workshops, assessments, and stakeholder alignment sessions and communicate recommendations clearly to senior decision-makers.
  • You collaborate with data engineering, architecture, analytics, AI, and governance teams to ensure strategies are technically credible and operationally executable.
  • You contribute to due diligence, proposals, reusable frameworks, and the continuous evolution of OMMAX Data Strategy offerings.

What we require:

  • You hold a completed university degree with excellent academic performance in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • You have gained first professional experience in data management, analytics, or digital transformation consulting.
  • You possess strong knowledge of SQL and Python as well as hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • You are familiar with visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker, as well as modern data platforms.
  • You demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills and are able to convey complex topics in a clear and practical manner.
  • You bring a proactive, service-oriented mindset and stand out through a high level of ownership and commitment.
  • You feel comfortable working in a collaborative and agile environment where you can fully develop your potential.
  • You are fluent in English; additional local language skills are a plus.
